Grampians Region Palliative Care Consortium is an alliance of five health services which provide specialist palliative care in the Grampians region.  Specialist palliative care  services provide health care to people living with a life-limiting illness, their families and carers.  Specialist palliative care focuses on quality of life and support to patients, families and carers guided by Victoria’s end of life and palliative care framework.

The Grampians region specialist palliative care service provider’s are committed to working with each other, governments and the community so all Victorians with a life-limiting illness and their families and carers will have access to a high-quality palliative care service system that fosters innovation and provides coordinated care and support that is responsive to their needs.

Clinical Advisory Group

The GRPCC also have a clinical advisory group with representation from each of the member palliative care services. This working group was established to enhance the provision of quality palliative care through the development of common clinical initiatives for adoption by the Consortium Executive member group. Their role is to inform decision making, planning, implementation and care coordination related to policy and strategic planning within the Grampians region.
